Kristin Heck has been dancing since about the time she could walk. She has studied all forms of dance throughout her lifetime and was awarded the Hubert and Gertrude Chanler Endowed Scholarship for the Arts while completing her Minor in dance at SUNY Geneseo. Kristin has taught all forms of dance, but most recently taught Ballroom and Latin dance, as well as group fitness classes, while training, competing, and performing professionally.
Kristin decided to retire from the dance world after having her daughter and began searching for other ways to stay active. She has always utilized yoga, barre, and Pilates as part of her conditioning program. Becoming an instructor was a natural fit and she is excited to be able to continue to share her passion for movement and wellness with others.
Kristin is a certified Group Fitness Instructor and Health Coach through the American Council on Exercise. She is currently completing her barre instructor certification through American Barre Technique and will begin her Pilates Instructor Certification through Balanced Body this year.
Kristin has her PsyD in Clinical Psychology from the Virginia Consortium Program in Clinical Psychology and currently runs a health and wellness blog for women and mothers.
She lives in Buford, Georgia with her husband, stepson, and daughter.
